1. Who we are

Anglo Arab Trading UK Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 13977197, and our registered office is 58 Geneva Way, Biddulph, Stoke-on-Trent, ST8 7FE. Our VAT registration number is GB 456 7645 52.

We are the exclusive distributor for the United Kingdom and Ireland of the Wellcomet LDM® Triple, a regenerative ultrasound platform used in aesthetic clinics, and of Skinova® 19, its home-use companion device.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at sarah.h@angloarabtrading.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers angloarab.co.uk. It explains what we collect when you use the site, why we hold it, who sees it and how long we keep it.

We run a separate website for the United Arab Emirates market, angloarabtrading.com, which belongs to a different company. This policy does not cover that site.

3. What we collect

When you make an enquiry

Our contact form asks for your name and email address, your telephone number if you choose to give it, and whatever you write in the message. If you are a clinic, you may also tell us the clinic name and where it is.

When you buy Skinova® 19

We collect your name, your contact details and the address the device is to be delivered to.

When you visit the site

If you agree to analytics, Google Analytics collects which pages you look at, roughly which part of the world you are in and what kind of device you are using. If you decline, none of that is collected. Our cookies policy sets out every cookie in full.

Health information

We do not ask for health information and we would rather you did not send it. If you are a patient wondering whether a treatment suits you, that is a question for a clinician rather than for us, and our Clinic Finder will point you to a clinic near you. If you do mention something about your skin or your health in an enquiry, we treat it as given with your explicit consent for the sole purpose of replying, and we delete it once the enquiry is closed.

4. Why we hold it, and our lawful basis

5. Who sees it

Enquiries are read by the two people who own the business, and by nobody else inside the company or outside it.

We do not pass enquiries to our clinic partners. If you are a patient looking for treatment, we will point you to the Clinic Finder and leave it to you to approach the clinic yourself.

If you order Skinova® 19, we give your name and delivery address to the manufacturer, Wellcomet GmbH, Am Mantel 4a, 76646 Bruchsal, Germany, so that they can send the device to you. They receive nothing else.

Our website is hosted by Automattic, and our email and analytics are provided by Google. Those companies handle information on our behalf as part of running the site and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, and not otherwise. We do not sell it.

6. Information sent outside the United Kingdom

Sending a delivery address to Wellcomet means sending it to Germany. The United Kingdom recognises countries in the European Economic Area as providing adequate protection for personal data, so no additional safeguards are needed for that transfer.

Some of our suppliers, Google among them, may handle information in other countries. Where they do, they are required by their contracts with us to protect it to United Kingdom standards.

7. How long we keep it

We review and clear old enquiries once a year, when we prepare our accounts.

8. Your rights

Under United Kingdom data protection law you can ask us to:

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. For cookies, use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page.

To make a request, email sarah.h@angloarabtrading.com. We will respond within one month. If your request is complex we may need longer, and we will tell you if that happens.

9. Cookies

Our cookies policy lists every cookie this site sets, what each one does and how to change your choices. Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is set until you agree to it.

10. Complaints

If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first and we will try to put it right.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, which is the United Kingdom’s supervisory authority for data protection. Their current contact details are at ico.org.uk.

If you are in the European Union or the wider European Economic Area, including the Republic of Ireland, you may instead complain to the supervisory authority in your own country.

11. Changes to this policy

The date at the top shows when this policy was last changed. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will say so on this page rather than change it quietly.
