LDM® Triple Clinics in the North of England
Our northern clinic partner is in Carlisle, at the top of Cumbria and ten miles from the Scottish border. That gives this page an unusual shape. It covers the north of England on paper, but in practice Carlisle reaches Cumbria, the Lake District, the Borders and south west Scotland far more easily than it reaches Manchester or Leeds. Better to say so here than to have you work it out on the motorway. LDM® Triple is given as a course rather than as a single appointment, so this is a journey you make more than once.
Where to find LDM® Triple in the North
VL Aesthetics is on Kingmoor Road in Carlisle, just off junction 44 of the M6 at the northern edge of the city.
Penrith, Wigton, Brampton, Longtown, Appleby, Cockermouth, Keswick, Workington and Whitehaven are all within easy reach, along with most of Cumbria. Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere are an hour or so south through the Lakes.
Over the border, Gretna, Annan, Lockerbie, Langholm, Moffat and Dumfries are all closer to Carlisle than Manchester is, and Hawick, Galashiels and much of the Scottish Borders are a straightforward run down the A7.
Newcastle and the Tyne valley are about an hour and a half across on the A69, with Hexham and Haltwhistle in between.

Carlisle by train
Carlisle sits on the West Coast Main Line, which is the part people usually miss. There are direct trains from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Preston and Lancaster, and the clinic is a few minutes from the station by taxi. If you are coming from a city rather than from the surrounding countryside, the train is often easier than the drive, and across a course that repeats over several weeks that difference adds up.
If Carlisle is too far
If you are in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield or Newcastle, Carlisle is a real journey and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Tell us where you are before you plan anything, because this is the part of the country where our clinic partner list is changing fastest, and the answer we give you today may not be the answer in a few months.
