Perfect Skin Solutions has been treating patients in Portsmouth since 2011 and has occupied its Southsea premises since 2014. It is led by Dr Dev Patel, a former Royal Navy medical officer and GP who moved fully into aesthetic medicine, and it runs a wide range of skin technology. Dr Dev Patel served as a Royal Navy medical officer and practised as a GP with dermatology training before committing to aesthetic medicine, and he has run the clinic in Portsmouth for more than a decade. It is CQC registered and Save Face accredited, and he is open about declining treatments he does not believe a patient needs.
He also founded CellDerma, a clinical skincare brand built around growth factor technology, and trains other doctors in the UK and abroad. This is a practice that takes the evidence seriously and is willing to argue about it, which is the context LDM® Triple arrived into.
The clinic runs a great deal of energy-based technology: radiofrequency microneedling, plasma, laser and more. Those treatments work by creating controlled injury and letting the skin rebuild, and how well the skin rebuilds is what decides the result the patient sees.
That is where LDM® Triple fits. It works on hydration, barrier function and the skin’s inflammatory state, the conditions that determine how comfortably skin recovers and how it looks while it does.
